EQUIP Football Mini-Camp
Location: Mount Venron
Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm

We are asking players to attend all four mini-camp days if possible, with a *minimum of 2*.
Please bring a water bottle. Cleats encouraged, but not mandatory.
Season Schedule for 1st - 6th Grade
There will be: 3 home games 3 away games 3 playoff games 3 Saturdays off (1 holiday and 2 BYES)

Is Equip Football apart of a league?
- Yes, Equip Football is apart of the Blue Ridge Football League.
How much does it cost to play?
The cost of Equip Football is $150.00. This fee covers the registration entry as well as a reversible jersey that your player will keep at the end of the season. (IF your player is returning and their jersey from last season still fits, your fee will be $75).
When are practices?
The first official practice will be Monday, August 4th from 5:30-7:00 at Mt. Vernon (no pads). Until games begin, practice will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 at Mt. Vernon. Locations and times subject to change.
How are teams divided?
Teams are divided by grade levels (1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th)
Is the league full contact tackle?
Yes, all grade levels will participate in full contact tackle football.
Does everyone participate in the Football Jamboree?
All teams will participate in the Football Jamboree on Saturday August 9th. Times TBA -Games run Saturday, August 16th-October 25th (if we make the playoffs).
What does my player need?
Players will need cleats, a fitted mouth guard that attaches to the face mask and a water bottle by the first practice. We will have used cleats available at the Mini-Camp if you would like to take a look before purchasing.
Does my player need a physical?
Yes, All players must have a current, up-to-date athletic physical. It *cannot expire* during football season. These are available at both your pediatric office and Urgent Care. Physicals will be due at Mini-Camp. (-If your player's physical is currently not expired, you must still bring a copy. *You may also email a copy to equip@mtvernonchurch.org).
